Alpharetta, GA- The Alpharetta High School Raider Politics Club conducted a mock election on October 26th-28th among 9th-12th grade students, with 993 out of 2,146 students participating.
Students submitted their votes via blind paper ballots at a polling table outside the school cafeteria.
The resulting votes broke down to 50.8% for Hillary Clinton, 31% for Donald Trump, 11.5% for Gary Johnson, and 6.7% for Jill Stein.
About the AHS Politics Club:
Established in September 2016, the Alpharetta High School Politics Club meets every other Wednesday morning before school in Mr. Womack’s room (Room 2219) to discuss current political events. In addition to conducting the mock election, the club remains active in the community with activities such as working at the polls on election day.
